For those of you interested in the key provisions of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008, I have added a link that will take you to a summary provided by the National Association of Realtors.  This new law is the latest effort by our government to help people buy and keep their homes.  One major component of the law is the $7,500 tax credit involved with the purchase of a home as well as the definition of a first time buyer (someone who hasn't owned a home in at least three years).  If you would like to know more about this law, just click on the link below:
